DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To manage and oversee POS-related projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role serves as the central point of coordination between teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful project delivery
Project Management
Task Allocation and Monitoring:
- Assign tasks to team members based on their roles and responsibilities, ensuring equitable distribution and alignment with project goals
Timeline Management:
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and delays are proactively addressed
Progress Tracking:
- Regularly review task statuses using project management tools and ensure updates are shared with stakeholders
Team Coordination
Team Meetings:
- Schedule and lead regular check-ins to discuss progress, address roadblocks, and align priorities
Resource Management:
- Ensure team members have the tools and resources needed to complete their tasks efficiently
Collaboration:
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between IT, operations, and external vendors to streamline workflows
Stakeholder Communication
Status Updates:
- Provide regular updates on project progress, highlighting completed tasks, pending items, and risks
Issue Resolution:
- Act as the primary contact for resolving project-related challenges and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders when necessary
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, decisions, and outcomes for transparency and future reference
Integration Management
Third-Party Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration of the POS with delivery platforms (e.g., UberEATS, Mr D), payment gateways, inventory systems, and reporting tools
API Monitoring:
- Collaborate with developers to test and monitor API integrations
Task Execution Oversight
Checklist Management:
- Ensure all deliverables are completed by cross-referencing project checklists and action plans
Quality Assurance:
- Review completed tasks to verify they meet quality standards and project requirements
Dependency Management:
- Identify dependencies between tasks and coordinate their completion to avoid bottlenecks
Core Deliverables
On-Time Task Completion:
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within the stipulated deadlines
Team Productivity:
- Monitor and report team productivity metrics to ensure optimal performance
Risk Mitigation:
- Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
REQUIREMENTS:
Project Management Experience (Must have):
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, or JIRA) to track tasks and timelines
Strong Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Communication Skills:
- Clear and concise communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that could delay project delivery
POS Experience
- Must have experience with POS systems like Micros, GAAP, or similar platforms
Technical Ability
- Understanding of API integration and reporting tools
